Ira Moreland

Ira L. Moreland, Managing Director
Mr. Moreland was most recently Managing Director and Group Head of the Financial Sponsors Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (STRH) where he oversaw their investment banking and leveraged finance efforts with private equity firms. Prior to joining STRH in 2003, Mr. Moreland was a Managing Director at Bank of America Securities where he held a variety of investment banking roles within the Financial Services Group and Mid-Cap investment banking. Before Bank of America Securities, he spent six years at Citigroup in the Financial Sponsors and Real Estate Finance Groups. Mr. Moreland previously served on the Advisory Board of Seidler Equity Partners, LLC and has served on a host of non-profit boards including the Board of Trustees of the Latin School of Chicago and ACG Atlanta. He also serves on the Finance Committee of the Westminster Schools. Mr. Moreland holds a BA degree in accounting from Morehouse College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
